How to quickly identify inferior aluminum?

2024-11-20

       Features of inferior aluminum profiles:

  1. Unqualified chemical composition. The cost of aluminum profiles doped with a large amount of miscellaneous aluminum and scrap aluminum in the product is greatly reduced, but it will cause the chemical composition of architectural aluminum profiles to be unqualified, which seriously endangers the stability of the construction project.

  2. Inferior aluminum profiles greatly reduce the sealing time, reduce the loss of chemical reagents, and reduce the cost, but the corrosion resistance of the profiles is also greatly reduced.

  3. Thin oxide film thickness. The standard stipulates that the oxide film thickness of architectural aluminum profiles should be no less than 10um (micrometers). If the thickness is not enough, the surface of the aluminum profile is prone to rust and corrosion. In the sampling, some aluminum profiles without the name of the producer, factory address, production license, and certificate of conformity have an oxide film thickness of only 2 to 4um, and some even have no oxide film. According to experts' estimates, for every 1um reduction in oxide film thickness, the power consumption cost per T profile can be reduced by more than 150 yuan.

  4. Unqualified chemical composition. Aluminum profiles that are mixed with a large amount of impurities and scrap aluminum can greatly reduce costs, but will lead to unqualified chemical composition of architectural aluminum profiles, which seriously endangers the stability of construction projects. Unqualified aluminum profiles will be deformed due to the influence of air, rain, sunlight, etc. during use, and may even cause glass to break or fall off.
